An investment in the Main Street Nevada organization shows your support of our work and what we are providing to the community. Your financial support helps us continue to make Nevada a great place to be.
Being an investor also provides some unique advertising opportunities. Here is a list of current ways to market your business through your Main Street Nevada investment:
- Purchase a set of light pole banners with your business name or logo. We have 20 poles left in the downtown district that are awaiting banners. Your purchase includes 3 banners (winter, spring/summer and fall) and will be displayed as long as your investment stays current.
- Purchase an ad in the annual Experience Nevada magazine. This publication comes out in February each year and is distributed around Central Iowa. In 2024, 3,500 copies of the publication were printed.
- As an investor, your business is listed on our website under the “Business Directory” with a link to your website. Our website is also listed on the City of Nevada’s website, which is also featured on the Ames Alliance website. Your name is also listed as an investor in the Experience Nevada publication.
- Put some business swag in our New Resident Welcome Bags. These bags are delivered to brand new Nevada residents to welcome them to town and provide some information and business recommendations.
- Sponsor an event. Investors are given priority to sponsor our events when needed. As a sponsor, your business name will be advertised.
- Host a Mix-N-Mingle. This is a great way to get some new faces inside your business. Main Street Nevada will do several Facebook posts about the Mix-N-Mingle at your business. Your event will also be listed in the digital newsletter, Main Street Mortar, which gets sent to over 500 email addresses.
